As it is already mentioned there exist three FDA approved erectile dysfunction treatment pills – Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. Evidently there are some differences between them.
Dosages:
• Viagra (25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets). Usually prescribed dose is 50mg, which is normally taken from 30 minutes to 4 hours before the time of supposed sexual act;
• Cialis (5mg, 10 mg, 20 mg tablets). Standard start dose is 10mg, which can be further increased or decreased. It can be taken from 30 minutes to 12 hours before supposed sexual act;
• Levitra (2.5-mg, 5-mg, 10-mg, and 20-mg tablets). Standard start dose is 10mg, which can be further increased or decreased. It can be taken from 25 minutes to 1 hour before supposed sexual act;
Durability of action:
• Viagra – approximately 4 hours;
• Cialis – approximately 17-36 hours;
• Levitra – approximately 5 hours.
Drug look:
• Viagra – blue round tablet with “Pfizer” (company’s name) in the center;
• Cialis – yellow almond shaped and film coated tablet;
• Orange round tablet with logotype in the form of flame.
